Challenge day. ⛰️🔥

There are nine of us today.

Smiles everywhere. Joy. Excitement… and a little tension too.

A festive atmosphere.

We are ready.

Both excited… and slightly anxious about what lies ahead. Each has their own challenge: reaching the summit, confirming their preparation, or simply living in the moment.

For some, it's the grand finale of a... wet road trip.

For others, the first devilish day of a "little stroll" in Provence 😄

Dry. Clean. Almost fresh.

The final moment before the assault. And we're off. The first few kilometers are taken with respect. We know the hardest part is yet to come. We're already breathing heavily. Then… the Saint-Estève bend.

And then, everything changes. We crash down the steep and uncompromising slope.

The Giant deserves its reputation.

The group spreads out and we disperse.

Everyone at their own pace.

Each to their own struggle.

The winding paths through the forest are magnificent…

…but we hate them anyway. The weather is perfect. And despite everything, we're enjoying ourselves. Despite the pain. Despite the doubt creeping in for some.

But there's the cause 💛 Kick Cancer, Our commitment, The reason for all these kilometers, We think of them, We think of him, We think of all those we can save. It gives meaning. An extra reason for every drop of sweat. Finally…

we all push ourselves to the limit

Driven by the cause.

All proud.

Even if everything isn't perfect, the essentials are there.

And the fantastic four did it! Not without pain. Not without emotion, up there.

The cherry on top… wasn’t so easy to swallow 😄 but the 1000 km that had passed were finally… almost forgotten.

The smiles at the summit of Mont Ventoux are worth everything. Pride. Joy. Emotion.

Memories that will last. The rest is a formality. Back home.

Comfort after the effort 🍷

We sit down.

We savor it. We've earned it.

And whatever happens to Union tonight…
